Bella’s Nike x Doernbecher Free 5.0

Another huge release for Nike was the Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. I picked up Bella's Free Run 5.0 Those were definitely targeted towards women, which was nice and they are cute enough for the older woman in your life aka MOM. Me personally, I love the details of the shoe, the hearts are great if your last name is LOVE and the microphone on the side is a plus if your into MUSIC.  I love the meaning behind the Dornbecher Collection as a whole; helping heal children- Beautiful. Im glad to know my purchase went towards a greater purpose.

Besides the mini bio thats included inside the box about Bella, you get to learn more about her by details of the shoe. On the microphone it says Grace, the heels of the shoes, have a "B" circled in hearts, the right tongue says BELIEVE, the left tongue says BRAVE BELLA, the inside of the right shoe says 20 surgeries and the left shoe says MIRACLE BABY GIRL. Now the hearts on the toe box have a very unique detail those gold accents don't just make the heart look cute, those are kidney shaped for a reason- Bella is in need of a kidney transplant. Of course nike completed this pair of kicks with an extra pair of laces, that include all the colors of the shoe-nicely done.

 
 

Nike Dunk Low SB Primitive x Clark Kent 112

This is definitely a great Black Friday release. For me the best for 2013-EASY! Costing only $98 Any and everyone knows that DJ Clark Kent is one of the most respected sneaker heads. His collection is crazy and for nike x primitive to release this collabo at at such a low price is impressive and much appreciated. Im not big on lows of any shoe except the Air Force 1, but I couldn't pass up this low. Its very comfortable and a head turner. The neon yellow, elephant print and 3M reflective all on one shoe- AMAZINGLY DOPE.

FLUD X MAYOR SNEAKER TRAVEL DUFFLE BAG REVIEW pt 1

On Nov 23 2013 in Houston, TX aka H-TOWN. I attended the H-TOWN SNEAKER SUMMIT 10TH Anniversary at Reliant Stadium. One of the vendors was FLUD, who was selling the most sought after Sneaker Travel Duffle bag for $70. BUY IT HERE Now they only had the camo which is what you see pictured above. This is a great travel bag. the individual pouches for the sneakers are actually sown into the bag. The pouches don't fit all shoes sizes, I wear a mens 8.5 and they sales rep told me, I would have no problem. I've had people who wear a mens size 13 however, express that their shoes don't fit in the bag. So would imagine if you wear anything larger than maybe a 9.5 or 10 you should contact FLUD watches before you purchase the bag. Now whats great about it, if your shoes fit, you can lay the shoes in each pouch, like they are in your shoe box, or you can stand them up; but you must face them in alternate directions. Now if your like me, you have more than 3 pairs of shoes that you travel with, so you need more than 3 pouches. What the rep at the summit informed me is that "Fall 2014 they will be sold separately" So thats definitely something we can look forward to, are some additional pouches to put into this wonderful bag. Once I take it for a trip, I'll do part 2 of this review and let you know how sturdy and durable the bag is.

REAL or FAKE: JORDAN 11

So Im in the process of solidifying my Jordan Collection, and as I mentioned in my last post, Im an ebayer. But I don't do fakes and like to make sure I'm well informed before I purchase any pair of kicks. One thing that has been very helpful that learned around the way is ASK THE BUYER FOR THE STYLE NUMBER.  You can call or email Nike, or use their or any search engine (google, yahoo, bing etc.) to make sure the style number matches the shoe :) If you need more assurance than that I came across a great check list to make sure you don't buy any fake Jordan 11's.

Jordan 7 Fake or Real

Sooooo I a huge EBAYER and I love my Jordan 7's while searching and finding a pair of my GRAILS for fairly cheap on ebay. I decided to do some research before deciding if I'm going to attempt to win this pair of shoes, I found this great list of ways to identify if your Jordan 7s are fake on Kicks on Fire.

H TOWN SNEAKER SUMMIT

November 23 2013 the Winter H-Town Sneaker Summit 10th Anniversary Goes Down! I have been to 3 HTown Sneaker Summit's. Im right up the road and if you've never been Houston, TX is a great city to be in. This was actually the first sneaker even I ever went to and I've been hooked on these events ever since. But Im sure you understand. Now H-Town... they do a Summer and Winter Summit, so you  get a double dose. Every time I've been they always do it big, in the stadium, with giveaways, performance, dope event shirt, crazy appearances (Bun B, king of the Trill is always there showing off his kicks collection) and some nice displays from crews and kick addicts all over the state. As time draws near to the 10th Anniversary, they continue to give us insight into all they have planned. So far Married to the Mob is doing the event shirt, DJ SKEE (@djskee) will be in the building-bring your heat for a chance to be on #SKEELOCKER 

AND on November 14 it as announced that 40OZ NYC will also be there. Now I will also be there to take pictures, which I will be posting of course, so all you that miss out will see how BIG we do it in TEXAS.
